ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) 5 Ways

Packed with tons of antibiotic and purifying properties you will live by  apple cider vinegar (ACV) for years to come. It’s become a staple in mine and I could never go back. I’ve felt the dynamic of my body change tremendously just by adding tablespoons of ACV throughout the day in routines or habits. Easy ways to benefit from ACV:


Natural Toner

The cleansing mechanisms inside ACV are just amazing. mixing equal parts water and a few dashes of tea tree oil and you’ll reap the benefits of clearer skin. Your youth years will thank you when you’re older.


Morning Detox Tea

Depending on how much sleep you typically get every night, waking up can either be  breeze or a total disaster. For an extra kick in to boost your energy grab your mug and mix:

  • hot water
  • 1 tbsp of ACV
  • honey to sweeten the bitter

I’m multifaceted when it comes to employment so that leaves little room for me to rest (due to change) and even though this is perfect for mornings, it soothes me at night as well. A double dose of healthy!

Sometimes I will drink this tea at night if I need an extra hour of work to put in. Any natural and beneficial way to boost my energy I am certainly down for.


Build Up

Give your hair a really good ACV rinse removing all of the build up you though you washed out. Once a month your hair will love you for taking that extra step to really cleanse and allowing it to prosper. Added bonus : it leaves your hair shiny naturally without oils or sprays.


Salad Dressing

A perfect salad topped with the perfect dressing for holiday dinners are essential to set the tone leading up to the dinner spread. Add a quick apple cranberry walnut salad the next time you are hosting and top it with this:

  • olive oil
  • ACV
  • spices to taste

I make this for my partner and he loves it! He isn’t quite too fond of ACV because of the taste but what he doesn’t know wont hurt him since technically its making him feel amazing!


Fruit & Veggie Wash

Rule of thumb: always wash your produce, even the organic. Research shows that pesticides, bacteria, bugs and everything else you don’t want to consume you end up consuming due to improper washing of foods. A quick rinse under the faucet doesn’t do anymore sadly. Soak your produce in a bowl of filtered water and a spoonful of ACV for about 1 hr before storing it away. Thank me later!
